A woman who spent over £15.5k on a boob job has been left with DIFFERENT-SIZED boobs after her breast implant started leaking “green fluid”.

Lisa Hart, 45, was left feeling “unhappy” with her body after having five children and wanted to “tidy” herself up.

Believing “everyone was staring” at her size 36E boobs, Lisa booked a breast reduction and reconstruction at a clinic in Glasgow, for £15,500.

She went under the knife for the four hour surgery, in May 2025, but a week later, noticed “green fluid” leaking onto her bandages from her right breast, she claims.

She said the clinic reassured her it was normal, but over the next four weeks her right breast healed unusually until a pea-sized hole developed.

Lisa, who was also experiencing fever-like symptoms, continued to raise her concerns to the clinic for over a month but claims she was ignored.

She went to hospital in June 2025 where doctors told her she was septic and they had no choice but to remove the right implant.

The mum-of-five has been left with different sized boobs – her right a B-cup and left a C-cup – and has no choice but to return to the same clinic she had the surgery to fix the size difference because no others will touch her.

She now wants to use her experience to warn other women to be more “cautious” about going under the knife.

Lisa, from Ayrshire, south of Glasgow, said: “There was a point where I thought I would die.

“You hear all the horror stories – but never did I think it would happen to me here in Glasgow.

“The entire ordeal has left me with rock-bottom confidence and I feel people are still staring at me – but for a different reason.

“All I wanted was to feel womanly.

“But now all I can do is look back at my before photos and just cry because I miss my old body.

“I want to raise awareness about the dangers of going under the knife and for clinics to be held to account.

“Having the perfect body isn’t important – and my message is that everyone is perfect.”

Lisa decided to fork out £15.5k on UK-based treatments – which could have been “half the price” in Turkey – thinking she was in the best care.

She wanted to tackle her “larger boobs” and “tidy” her body after having five children and booked her operations in a Glasgow clinic for May 2025.

Excited for her “dream body,” Lisa went to the clinic on May 7 with her husband, Steven, 54, a property developer.

She said she was discharged home only an HOUR after the four-hour long surgery – and a week later her right breast began to leak.

“I was undoing the bandages myself when I first spotted the luminous green yellow liquid,” she said.

“After a couple of days, the skin on the breast began to split and a hole appeared below the nipple. It was hell.”

During this time, Lisa said she repeatedly tried to contact the clinic who performed the procedure.

But her pleas kept falling on deaf ears for weeks and she claimed that nothing seemed to help.

“I was running out of options, and the hole was getting bigger,” Lisa said.

“At one point, it was the same size as a pencil eraser and I was coming down with a fever.

“I felt as if my body was literally failing me.”

Desperate for help, Lisa went to Ayr University Hospital on June 9, 2025 – five weeks after the surgery.

Within seconds, doctors took a swab of her right breast which confirmed Lisa had sepsis and decided the implant needed to come out.

Lisa stayed in hospital for 10 days, but instead of getting back her pre-pregnancy body and “fitting” breasts that she “dreamed of”, she was left with just one fuller boob.

She said: “The effect on my mental health was terrible – and I’m now physically out of it.

“I keep myself at home and only leave for medical reasons or an essential shop.

“And I’m even getting treated for angina due to the immense stress.

“Every day, I need to make sure I wear something baggy enough to cover up my boobs.

“And I dare to even look at myself in the mirror.”

Lisa says her boobs have “at least” a one cup size difference between them – with her left being a C-cup and her right a B-cup – and the “insecurity” means she now suffers from “anxiety”.

But due to the complexity of her procedure, Lisa claims that no other clinic is willing to touch her.

With “no current plan in place” to fix her boobs, she wants to use her experience to warn other women to be more diligent when it comes to going under the knife – and for clinics to be held accountable for their actions.

Her main message is to instead “love yourself.”

“I now have no other route but to go back to the same clinic that caused this in the first place,” Lisa said.

“My husband and entire family have been affected by this – and I know one of my children can sense something isn’t right with me and it breaks my heart.”

“It’s been draining and one massive regret.

“I went into this wanting people to not stare at me or sexualise me because of my body.

“I guess I have to be more careful for what I wish for.

“I’m just happy to be alive and that I have a family who loves and supports me no matter what.

“Hopefully my experience can help raise awareness and prevent this from happening to other women.”

The clinic said they are unable to comment on the care or details of any individual confidentiality.

A spokesperson from the clinic said: “[We are] committed to providing safe, high-quality care and to offering timely support to anyone who seeks our help.

“All concerns raised with the clinic are taken seriously and are handled through a robust clinical governance and complaints process, in accordance with national regulatory standards.

“As a matter of policy, we advise anyone who experiences unexpected symptoms after a medical procedure – whether with us or elsewhere – to seek prompt medical attention.

“We remain committed to transparency, safety, and continuous improvement in all aspects of our service.”
