If there’s one secret Blake Lively will always tell, it’s how much she loves gushing over husband Ryan Reynolds online.

And after Hugh Jackman shared a photo of the Fall Guy actor in a white tank top showing off his bicep and pointing to the camera, the Gossip Girl alum made her feelings quite plain. Underneath the July 2 post, Blake wrote, “My thirst has been trapped.”

As for Ryan, he took a more cheeky approach. “This photo is from my private collection,” he joked. “How dare you?”

Meanwhile, Hugh himself took a sly jab at his longtime pal—and Deadpool and Wolverine costar—when posting the photo, suggesting Ryan was all too proud of his muscular arms. He captioned the photo, “You want me to put this away? —Ryan Reynolds, co-star, mouth breather. a–hole.”

Of course, Ryan, 47, is certainly not a stranger to playful ribbing online as everyone from the Greatest Showman actor to his wife of nearly 14 years.

Take, for instance, when the It Ends With Us star joined BFF Taylor Swift at the 2024 Super Bowl, where they watched the “Karma” singer’s boyfriend Travis Kelce win his third championship.

Ryan, who stayed home during the big game, posed next to the TV as his new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer debuted. “Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer?” he wrote in the Feb. 11 post. “Also has anyone seen my wife?”

The very next day, Blake, 36 issued her response, posing for a pic in the exact same spot as Ryan. “Honey I’m home,” she responded on the Instagram Stories. “My day was good. Yours?”

And while Blake and Ryan love to poke fun on social media, they’ve made it clear it’s all love. In fact, The Proposal star previously told Today that his philosophy for trolling is to do so “only when it comes to those most precious to me.”

Birthday Competition

Blake put the pressure on Ryan to up his game on her next birthday after he created a fully produced music video for friend Rob McElhenney‘s big day in April 2023. “That’s a lot of effort you put into this,” she wrote on social media. “Can’t wait for August 25th.”

A Hair-Raising Post

Blake had a question for her husband Ryan, brother-in-law Terry Reynolds and sister Robyn Lively: “How did not one person find the time to mention to me that this is what my hair looked like today?”

Time for a Sabbatical

When Ryan announced he planned to take a “little sabbatical from movie making,” Blake commented, “Michael Caine did it first,” referring to an interview in which the Dark Knight actor hinted that he had shot his final film. Ryan later clarified that he has not retired from acting.

Gigi Hadid > Ryan Reynolds

In April 2021, Blake trolled Ryan while wishing their friend Gigi Hadid a happy 26th birthday, writing on Instagram, alongside a photo of herself sitting in between the two, “I think you and I make a much better couple.”
