A BILL PASSED IN 2023 WOULD HAVE REQUIRED LATER START TIMES, SO MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS COULD GET MORE SLEEP. BUT SCHOOL DISTRICTS, INCLUDING PALM BEACH COUNTY, RAISED CONCERNS BOTH FINANCIALLY AND LOGISTICALLY. THE NEW BILL NOW HEADS TO THE GOVERNOR’S DESK, A BILL BANNING FLUORIDE FROM PUBLIC WATER SYSTEMS IN FLORIDA IS NOW ALSO HEADING TO THE GOVERNOR’S DESK, DENTAL EXPERTS ARGUE THAT FLUORIDE HELPS TO PREVENT TOOTH DECAY. According to a news release, Svitlana Demydenko, 53, and her daughter Yelyzaveta Demydenko, 22, voted early in the presidential election on Oct. 31, 2024, on Palm Beach.
