INDIANAPOLIS — On Tuesday, Central Indiana residents will be able to participate in Election Day voting for May’s primary election, ultimately making the decision on which people will be on the general election ballot in November in a number of races.
This comes after many Indianapolis residents, and others throughout Central Indiana, have already participated in the 2024 primary election through early voting.
Some of the races that voters will be able to vote in include:
- Indiana Governor
- Various races related to Indiana’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate
- Various Indiana Statehouse-related races, including Indiana State Representatives and Indiana State Senate races
- Various county and local offices
- School referendums
Primary election day voting will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Officials said that absentee ballots are required to be received by election officials by 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
