Whether it was at a party’s convention or through social media, celebrities have been speaking up about who they support in the upcoming presidential election.
One of the biggest endorsements came from Taylor Swift who said she is voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. With the post, the singer also shared a custom URL on her Instagram story that directed 405,999 visitors to vote.gov, a spokesperson from the General Services Administration told USA TODAY.
Here’s a list of celebrities who have expressed their support for a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Remember, the last day to register to vote in Kentucky is Oct. 7.
Actress Amy Schumer is “all in” for Harris, she said in an Instagram post of a picture of the candidate.
According to Rolling Stone, Anuel AA, a Puerto Rican reggaeton star, and Justin Quiles, a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter, endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump. They both joined Trump last month at his rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Anuel AA made an Instagram post in which the first picture shows him with Trump, who is holding a white cap that reads “Make Puerto Rico Great Again” and the rapper is wearing the candidate’s signature MAGA cap.
Following Swift’s Instagram post, which she signed “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady,” Plaza posted a picture of herself and Grumpy Cat and said “HARRIS us WALZ” in the caption.
Singer Barbra Streisand posted her support for Harris on X in July alongside a list of the Biden and Harris administration’s accomplishments, stating, “Kamala Harris will continue Joe Biden’s work and will be a great president.”

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas shared a video on National Registration Day endorsing Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. The video caption says they will vote for them.
“Vote like your life depends on it, because it does,” Eilish said.
Charli xcx, singer of songs including “360” and “Apple,” said on X, formerly Twitter: “kamala IS brat.”
Actor George Clooney told CNN that he was supporting Harris and also praised Biden’s leadership.
“President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”

Hulk Hogan, a professional entertainer and wrestler, made an “intense” speech at the RNC, tearing off his shirt to reveal a Trump campaign shirt underneath.
Actress Jamie Lee Curtis endorsed Harris and supported Biden’s decision to remove himself from the presidential election.
Singer Jason Aldean has expressed public support for Trump, posting on Instagram, “This is what a warrior looks like! This is MY guy us,” following the assassination attempt on Trump in July.
The signer posted on Instagram the screenshot of a lengthy message praising President Joe Biden’s work and saying he would “help unite the pro-democracy coalition… elect Kamala Harris as our President.”
“She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can.”
Legend also performed during the third day of the Democratic National Convention. He sang “Let’s Go Crazy” from Prince’s 1984 “Purple Rain” with Sheila E.
Actor Josh Gad said in an Instagram post praising Biden he would do “whatever” he can to get Harris “elected so that my girls can see that a woman in the United States can become leader of the free world for the first time in 235 years.”
Kid Rock was in attendance at the Republican National Convention, posting his arrival to Milwaukee on Instagram on July 18.
Lil Pump shared his support for Trump in a video in July in which he said, “We’ve seen the mess that you and Biden created in the last three years, and the only person who can clean it up is Donald Trump, baby.” He posted a photo on Instagram of him in American flag-themed overalls with the caption, “TRUMP 202024.”
Actress Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman on the small screen, posted a picture of Kamala Harris in front of a Wonder Woman painting. The picture was accompanied by a caption thanking President Joe Biden and encouraging people to vote for Harris in November.
“If you believe in America’s future and want an honorable leader, you KNOW it’s time to vote @kamalaharris for President this November!,” Carter said.
Although getting misgendered by the candidate, Puerto Rican reggaeton star Nicky Jam endorsed Donald Trump in the upcoming elections. During an event at The Expo at World Market Center, the singer was wearing the signature MAGA cap and told the former president it was an honor to meet him.
“People that come from where I come from, they don’t meet the president. So, I’m lucky,” Jam said. “We need you. We need you back, right? We need you to be the president.”
The Abbott Elementary actress posted a picture with Harris on her Instagram. The caption said “When she wins, we win!”
Spike Lee posted a picture of Harris on Instagram with the caption: “Once again a sista comes to da rescue.”
Taylor Swift made it clear who she’s going to vote for in November when she endorsed Harris on Instagram.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” she said in the lengthy post.
Every night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago had an array of A-listers either host or perform, including Tony Goldwyn, Ana Navarro, Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, Common, Eva Longoria, Stevie Wonder, Pink and The Chicks.
Actress Viola Davis has extended her support to Harris multiple times on social media, posting on Instagram after Tuesday’s debate, “Tonight … I saw hope. I saw a leader that will not leave the 51.1% of women, elderly, working poor … behind. I saw dignity, kindness and inclusiveness … I saw the next President of the United States Kamala Harris … and I was proud.”
