The kid is all right.

Former first son Barron Trump has been “doing great” since he matriculated to New York University this fall, Melania Trump told Fox News’ “The Five” Tuesday.

“He loves his classes and his professors,” the former first lady said. “He’s doing well, he’s thriving and he’s enjoying to be in New York City again.”

The Post spied Barron, 18, towering at 6′ 7” over his Secret Service detail as he strode the Washington Square campus on Sept. 4, sporting a smart white polo and stylish black Adidas Gazelle sneakers.

The 45th president confirmed to the Daily Mail the same day that his son was attending the Stern School of Business at NYU, calling it “a very high-quality place” and noting Barron had “liked it.”

Donald and Melania’s only son is expected to commute from Trump Tower in Midtown to attend classes in Greenwich Village.

“He’s always been a very good student, he’s smart,” Trump previously told The Post of Barron, who graduated in May from the elite Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Fla.

It’s unclear whether heightened security measures will be in place for Barron at NYU after his father survived two assassination attempts earlier this year.

Barron made his political debut July 9, four days before the first attempt on his father’s life, when the elder Trump introduced him at a rally in Florida.

Asked Tuesday whether she worries for her husband’s safety, Melania told “The Five” panel: “Yes, I do.”

“When they call him, he’s a threat to democracy, let’s ask ourselves: Who is really interested in democracy?” she said. “They are ongoing with lawfare against the former president, as well as … trying to … silence him.”

“It’s a toxic atmosphere,” Melania added, insisting later that her husband’s critics have misjudged him.

“He’s very warm, he’s fun,” Melania said of her 78-year-old husband. “He’s very passionate about this country. … He wants to make this country safe so everybody has a job and [is] enjoying family life.”

The Slovenian-born Melania’s appearance on “The Five” was timed to the appearance of her eponymous memoir, which hit shelves Tuesday.
