Here’s the latest on the Trump-Harris race:
Former President Donald Trump is set to speak Thursday night at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner held annually in Manhattan, a Catholic fundraiser that’s historically provided rare moments of levity — especially in an election year, where the candidates get to roast and mock each other.
Vice President Kamala Harris is dodging the dinner. (We’ll be there though.)
Instead, she’s in battleground Wisconsin, hitting up Milwaukee, La Crosse and Green Bay. Her VP pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has former President Bill Clinton by his side in North Carolina for appearances in Durham and Winston-Salem.
