Vanessa Hudgens welcomed her first child with husband Cole Tucker earlier this year — and the couple appear to be happier than ever.

Hudgens, 35, took to social media on Sunday, November 24, to post a sweet photo of her and Tucker, 28, enjoying a date night together. “Call for a good time 😉😝,” Hudgens captioned the post.

Tagging her baseball player husband in the Instagram snap, a smiling Hudgens was seen poking her tongue out to the camera as Tucker offered two peace signs and an amused grin of his own.

The actress looked glamorous during the couple’s night out, dressed in a red strapless gown. Tucker matched his wife’s chic vibes, opting for a suit and tying his trademark long locks behind him in a ponytail.

Hudgens, who has not revealed the name or gender of the child she announced the arrival of in July, seemingly documented a date night with Tucker in October, however he was not visible in the Halloween-themed Instagram carousel she posted at the time.

The High School Musical alum revealed her pregnancy in March, debuting her baby bump while performing red carpet interview duties at the 2024 Oscars. She wore a form-fitting black turtleneck Vera Wang gown to the event.

A source told Us Weekly at the time, “[Cole] treats her better than any guy she has been with. They are in a really good place. With marriage and a baby, she is ready for the next phase of life.”

The pair began dating in 2020 after meeting on a meditation Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple got engaged in December 2022 and tied the knot in Mexico one year later.

Prior to the couple’s nuptials, an insider told Us in June 2023 that Hudgens and Tucker both wanted “a family now and that’s what’s driving them toward getting married [soon],” noting that she had “no doubt” that Cole would make a great father.

While Hudgens originally had a different timeline in mind for her foray into motherhood, she insisted in September 2022 that she was pleased with what the stars had in store for her. “I always thought I would be married at 25 because that’s when my mom got married, and then when that didn’t happen, I was like, ‘Oh, OK, so we’re just going to shift everything back a bit,’” she told Nylon at the time. “I always thought that around 36, 37 is when I would want to have kids, and that still plays. I don’t feel panicked about it.”

Hudgens appears to be soaking up life at the moment, posting a shot of herself playing mini-golf via Instagram just two days prior to Sunday’s date night photo. “Practice makes perfect they say 🤷🏻‍♀️,” she captioned the photo, which captured Hudgens’ beaming smile as she posed on the green.
