The Yellowstone cast had a mini reunion to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

“Gente, ‘Merry’ Thanksgiving. From my familia to yours. With so much love,” the show’s still photographer Emerson Miller shared the picture via Instagram on Thursday, November 28, revealing that some of the show’s stars got together for the holiday.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan posing alongside the show’s stars Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton), Ian Bowen (Ryan) and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) in the group photo. Their respective significant others were present as well.

Grimes’ wife, Bianca Rodrigues, was front and center in the photo as she held their newborn. Grimes, 40, and Rodrigues, 28, married in November 2018 and welcomed their son late last month. She shared the Thanksgiving pic to her Instagram Story when celebrating the holiday on Thursday.

Along with the initial group photo, Miller also shared a video of Bohen, 48, laughing via Instagram Stories.

The Yellowstone cast and crew appeared to be in high spirits during their Thanksgiving celebration despite the ongoing drama surrounding their final season.

Kevin Costner, who played patriarch John Dutton since the show started in 2018, was killed off during the first episode of season 5B. Costner, 69, announced his exit from the show this past June and he did not appear in the final season premiere, which aired on November 13.

Bohen spoke candidly about Costner’s departure from the show during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly on the 2024 CMA Awards red carpet earlier this month.

“I would use the analogy of a football team. If your quarterback gets hurt and he has to come out of the game, you have to play. So, you gotta figure out another way to run the ball or throw the ball or just do different things because you can’t quit,” he said. “So that’s what happened. We lost our quarterback, and we still have to play the game.”

Bohen made his debut as the ranch hand Ryan during the show’s first season, and has since been upped to main cast member.

“There’s a lot of other people there and families and the whole world around it and the stadium and everybody has to go to work,” he continued. “So what are you gonna do? Well, you gotta figure it out. So that’s what we do. We found a way to figure it out.”

The Teen Wolf alum explained that, personally, Costner’s exit from the show has been a transition.

“You get into a certain level of comfort and understanding and when it’s altered, it’s a little bit of a bump,” Bohen said. “But like anything, you just put your helmet on and you’re like, ‘I gotta go catch the next pass.’ So you can’t really dwell on it too much.”
