The current and former Vikings made sure to show Randy Moss plenty of love Monday night during their national showdown against the Bears.

And the tributes didn’t go unnoticed by Moss, who expressed his appreciation.

The Vikings legend revealed last week that he has been battling cancer and successfully underwent surgery to remove cancer that had been found in his bile duct.

Prior to the game, former wide receivers Jake Reed and Cris Carter walked out onto the field for the coin toss holding a Moss No. 84 Vikings jersey.

“In honor of Randy Moss and all those fighting cancer, let’s Moss cancer,” the public address announcer said as the two former Vikings walked onto the field.

The trio had made up one of the best-known receiver trios in NFL history.

Fans inside U.S. Bank Stadium began chanting “Ran-dy, Ran-dy!” as Reed and Carter were standing at midfield for the coin toss.

The tributes didn’t stop there.

When Justin Jefferson scored his first-quarter touchdown to give the Vikings a 10-0 lead over the Bears, he dedicated the score to Moss.

“We love you Randy! That’s for you,” Jefferson shouted as he celebrated the touchdown catch.

Moss clearly saw the show of support from the Vikings and expressed his appreciation in a post on X.

“LUV U ALL! #letsmosscancer,” he wrote.

Moss made the reveal about his cancer on Friday in an Instagram post, where he said that he had been in the hospital for six days.

ESPN announced on Dec. 6 that he was stepping away from his role as an NFL analyst for an “extended time to focus on a personal health challenge.”

In his Instagram reveal, he said he would return to “Sunday NFL Countdown” and added, “I am forever grateful” when discussing his six-hour surgery and his doctor.
