But this year will bring another round of races, this time for judicial seats, municipal positions and school board posts.

What’s the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania in 2025?
To cast a ballot in the primary, commonwealth residents will have to register by May 5. The cutoff is Oct. 20 to participate in the general election.
What’s the deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot?
Voters have until May 13 to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot for the primary election. For the general election, Oct. 28 is the final day to apply.
When is Election Day in Pennsylvania in 2025?
The primary is on May 20, and the general election will take place Nov, 4. Mail-in and absentee voters have until 8 p.m. on each of these dates to return their ballots to election officials.
