Third-ranked Notre Dame will welcome another new Atlantic Coast Conference foe to town Sunday afternoon when No. 21 California visits Purcell Pavilion at 2 p.m. (ET). It is the second straight team to visit from California.

The Irish (20-2, 11-0) are coming off a 96-47 throttling of Stanford on Thursday, the largest loss margin in Stanford’s proud history. With over three minutes to play, the Irish cleared their bench, which included two walk-ons and a former walk-on.

Cal (19-5, 7-4) is coming off a 70-63 loss Thursday at Louisville, a team the Irish beat, 89-71 on Feb. 2.

The two teams last met in the 2022 Citi Shamrock Classic in Saint Louis, where the Irish won, 90-79. Notre Dame is 3-0 all time against Cal.
