St. John’s 10-game win streak came to a crashing halt.
The No. 9 Red Storm weren’t able to grind out a victory this time, falling 73-71 to Villanova at William B. Finneran Pavilion on Wednesday night.
Simeon Wilcher’s 3-pointer in the final 30 seconds put St. John’s up 71-70, but the Wildcats answered with a 3 of their own to provide the final margin.
It’s just the second Big East loss for St. John’s.
