Olivero restaurant on Castle Street in downtown Wilmington made USA TODAY’s list of best restaurants in the country. The 2025 list was released today, and features 44 restaurants around the country, from fine-dining establishments to roadside burger shacks.
“This is something that’s especially great for our staff,” said Sunny Gerhart, founder and co-exectutive chef of the restaurant. “It’s nice to be recognized for the work we do.”
Food journalists from across the USA TODAY network, including the StarNews in Wilmington, pooled their expertise to select the list. It features places these reporters and editors know, love and recommend.
