Adrien Brody may be winning on the acting front thanks to The Brutalist, but it’s his romance with English fashion designer Georgina Chapman that is responsible for melting hearts. First linked in 2019 (at a candlelit dinner in Puerto Rico, no less), the pair made their relationship red carpet official just one month before Chapman finalized her divorce from Harvey Weinstein in 2021.

“Adrien is the most supportive partner to Georgina,” an insider later told US Weekly. “He’s never judged her for past relationships and is always empathetic and caring. He’s such a positive light.”

April 2019: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman are spotted together in Puerto Rico.

Apparently the couple have Helena Christensen to thank for their reunion (according to Page Six, Brody and Chapman had met before.) In celebration of the model’s new swimwear line, the couple descended on the Caribbean island and reconnected over a candlelit dinner with friends.

June 19, 2021: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman make their red carpet debut.

One month before Chapman’s divorce from Weinstein was finalized, she appeared with Brody on the red carpet for the very first time. The occasion? The Tribeca Film Festival, where the actor’s film Clean premiered in 2021.

September 13, 2021: The couple attend their first Met Gala together.

Brody and Chapman were all smiles as they walked up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art later that same year. While the actor opted for a classic tux, the designer sparkled in a dress from her own label, Marchesa.

July 2023: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman vacation in Saint-Tropez.

After flying under the radar for the entirety of 2022, the couple were spotted on a French getaway eating ice cream.

February 2, 2024: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman go to a Grammys after-party.

The couple returned to the red carpet at the beginning of 2024 for a Grammys after-party hosted by Universal Music Group. Chapman once again opted for a dress of her own design.

May 6, 2024: They attend their second Met Gala.

The couple enjoyed a rare date night thanks to another evening at the Met. Chapman wore a custom organza gown of her own design while Brody kept it classic in a black tux.

December 2, 2024: They hit the red carpet for the Gotham Awards.

Brody and Chapman kicked off awards season with an appearance at the 34th annual Gotham Awards at Cipriani Wall Street. (The actor was nominated for his role in The Brutalist, but lost the award to Colman Domingo for Sing Sing.)

January 5, 2025: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman step out at the Golden Globes.

Brody and Chapman had plenty to celebrate at the 2025 Golden Globes after the actor took home the award for Best Actor thanks to his role in The Brutalist.

Your generosity of spirit, your own resilience, your immense creativity is a daily reminder of how to be,” Brody gushed during his acceptance speech. “I would not be standing here before you if it wasn’t for you. January 16, 2025: Adrien Brody gushes about Georgina Chapman in a new interview with ‘People.’

Following the widespread critical acclaim of The Brutalist, Brody sat down with People to discuss how his relationship with his girlfriend influences his acting career. “[I’m] very grateful to have a partner with kindness and intelligence and insight,” he said. “That goes a really long way.”

When asked to describe their life together, the actor summed it up in one word: “blessed.”

February 7, 2025: The couple celebrate Brody’s win at the Critics Choice Awards.

Another awards show, another win for The Brutalist. Brody once again gave Chapman a shout-out during his acceptance speech for Best Actor: “I’ve been doing this since I was 12 and I know very clearly that these moments are far and few between in an actor’s life. February 16, 2025: The couple hop across the pond for the BAFTA Awards.

After touching down in London for the BAFTAs, Brody and Chapman embodied Old Hollywood glamour when they hit the red carpet in coordinated looks. For his part, Brody donned a custom J.Crew tuxedo after an earlier announcement that he would be the new face of the brand. Chapman, meanwhile, wore a strapless black velvet gown of her own design, complete with a blush pink tulle skirt.

February 24, 2025: Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman attend the SAG Awards.

The couple were all smiles at their fifth awards show of the season, this time donning coordinated all-black looks for the 31st annual SAG Awards. True to form, Chapman wore another Marchesa gown while Brody opted for a classic tux.
