As a refresher, last year’s major Emmy winners were Hacks for Best Comedy Series, Shōgun for Best Drama Series, and Baby Reindeer for Best Limited Series/TV Movie. Shōgun set a new overall record with 18 wins in a single season, while The Bear claimed a new comedy record with 11 wins in a single season.

Hot new TV shows to watch out for this time around include Netflix’s romantic comedy Nobody Wants This, Peacock’s political drama The Day of the Jackal, and HBO’s comic-book fave The Penguin. All three of these newbies received major nominations at the Golden Globes, Critics Choice, and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
