EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two young women were crowned as Miss Sun City USA and Miss Sun City Teen USA at the first-ever Miss Sun City USA Pageant.
The competition was held on Saturday, March 15 at the Hotel Paso Del Norte.
Winners of the pageant will go on to represent El Paso at the Miss Texas USA pageant on May 2-4 in Houston.
Danielle Kaufman was crowned as the first-ever Miss Sun City USA and Aspen Armendariz was crowned as Miss Sun City Teen USA, according to the pageant’s Instagram page.
“This is more than just a pageant — it’s a celebration of strength, ambition, and the stories that shape these remarkable contestants,” according to the news release from Miss Sun City USA.
Contestants competed in three different categories: personal interview where contestants share their ambitions and values; swimsuit (miss) or activewear (teens) to highlight confidence and strength; and evening gowns that highlight grace and elegance, according to Miss Sun City USA.
“Beyond the competition, this is about giving women a platform to share their stories. Every contestant has a journey — a story of perseverance, ambition, and resilience.
