TikTok star Isaac Rochell used the cinematic teachings of Regina George to help explain all the drama between Kyle Juszczyk and the San Francisco 49ers.

To recap, Juszczyk, 33, was released by the 49ers on Tuesday, March 11, before signing a two-year, $8 million contract to return to the team on Saturday, March 14.

In a Tiktok video posted on Sunday, March 16, Rochell — who played seven seasons in the NFL with the Chargers, Colts, Browns and Raiders — called the whole thing “a Mean Girls situation.”

Mean Girls starred Lindsay Lohan as Cady Heron, a newbie at North Shore High School who begins running with — and then feuding with — the Plastics, headed by George, played by Rachel McAdams

“Kyle Juszczyk is our Cady Heron,” Rochell, 29, said. “The Plastics, the 49ers. Cady Heron joined the 49ers, immediately welcome in. The Plastics said, ‘We’re going to build our offense around you. You are the cornerstone of everything we’re doing. And then what? Cady Heron cast out by the Plastics.”

Juszczyk’s release sent shockwaves throughout the NFL and the 49ers community at large, which were felt by the fullback’s wife, Kristin Juszczyk. Hours after her husband’s release, Kristin, 31, reacted via her Instagram Story, sharing a picture of one of the couple’s dogs looking agitated. “Mood,” Kristin captioned the image.

Rochell said the 49ers were also sending a message to Kristin when they decided to release Kyle, 33.

“Kristin Juszczyk, we don’t want you,” Rochell continued in the video. “Kyle, we don’t want you.”

Just days after the release, however, came the franchise’s change of heart.

“What happened to the Plastics? They started falling apart,” Rochell said. “49ers, what is their offense going to be? Are they going to have to change everything? They don’t have a fullback now. That changes the whole dynamic of their offense.”

He continued, “The Plastics called [Cady] back. They didn’t sign her to a two-year, eight-million dollar deal, which I’m sure she would have taken.”

The off-the-field drama surrounding the 49ers took on another layer when Sydney Warner, wife of San Francisco linebacker Fred Warner, posted some cryptic messages via her Instagram Story after Kyle’s release.

“The happiest of Mondays,” the Bachelor alum, 29, wrote alongside an image of a cup of coffee and a black heart emoji. Later, she posted about her “glorious evening” while showing off her TV and a bag of pretzels on the couch.

Sydney did not directly mention either Kyle or Kristin in her posts, but speculation immediately grew that she was slyly celebrating Kyle’s departure.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in December, Sydney admitted it was a challenge to “find your footing” as a 49ers WAG after she and Fred, 28, got married in June 2022.

As for Rochell — who officially retired from professional football in February — he has built a dedicated following on TikTok with over 2 million followers. He is married to content creator Allison Kuch and the couple share daughter Scottie, 15 months.

After Kyle re-signed with the 49ers, Kristin gushed about her excitement in a celebratory post via Instagram.

“This past week has really made Kyle and I reflect on our past 8 years in the Bay,” she wrote. “We grew up here. We turned friends into family here. We won championships here and we lost championships here. We feel so incredibly blessed to have called the bay home for the past 8 years. It’s truly been the best years of our lives. Kyle’s curtain isn’t closed just yet and we couldn’t be more happy and emotional to stay home!!! ❤️ We’re forever Faithful.”
