Starz April 2025 Highlights
Starz is a wonderful place to both find brand new and exciting original programming, as well as rediscover old gems you may have missed. Here are two of the best new titles coming to the platform this April:
Power Book III: Raising Kanan:Season 4, Episodes 5-7 (Released April 4, 11, and 18) *Starz Original
Starz Original crime drama series Power Book III: Raising Kanan is back with several new episodes dropping throughout April. The previous season saw Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis) step out of his powerful mother’s (Patina Miller) shadow and take the reins in his own life by arranging the deaths of Ronnie Mathis (Grantham Coleman) and Detective Malcolm Howard (Omar Epps). Power Book III: Raising Kanan: Season 4 follows Kanan in the aftermath of it all as his drug business thrives, while other dramas and dangers brew in the background, including a very much alive and volatile Kadeem “Unique” Mathis (Joey Bada$$) who is on a ferocious hunt to avenge his brother’s death. There’s no shortage of gripping action and thrills in store for this series, so be sure to see it all go down as soon as each episode drops, only on Starz.
Five Nights at Freddy’s (Released April 26)
Based on the popular video game series of the same name, Five Nights at Freddy’s is a 2023 supernatural horror film that follows struggling young man Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson) as he starts a new job as a nighttime security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. But the once-popular pizzeria is now abandoned and plagued by possessed animatronic mascots and the dark history behind them, forcing Mike to fight just so he and his beloved younger sister (Piper Rubio) can make it out alive in one piece.
