Beloved Food Network Show Returns Tonight With Spooky New Season

September brings the start of spooky season—as well as the new season of a Food Network fan favorite.

Season 11 of Halloween Baking Championship premieres today—Monday, September 15— at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT. The two-hour episode will be available tomorrow on HBO Max.

Comedian John Henson hosts the hit series and will share the screen with judges Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall, and Zac Young for the upcoming season.

Ten bakers will compete in “a terrible haunted mansion filled with secret passageways and scares around every corner,” per Food Network.

The show’s descrption continues, “Over the course of seven episodes, the bakers will be tested with a series of sinister challenges inspired by the haunted manor—and, the most terrifying aspect of all, their own personal fears.

“For the first time, the bottom three bakers in most episodes will be forced to bake for their lives.”

The winner will receive a $25,000 prize and the title of “Halloween Baking Champion.”

‘Halloween Wars’ is Set to Air its 15th Season

Halloween Baking Championship isn’t the only spooky series returning to Food Network this month.

Season 15 of Halloween Wars will premiere on Sunday, September 21, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT, and will also be available the following day on HBO Max.

Actor Jonathan Bennett hosts the popular competition show alongside judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira.

Bennett will challenge “seven teams of the best cake, sugar and pumpkin artists in the world to create delicious treats,” per Food Network.

“From scenes depicting childhood monsters to an inspired take on the boogeyman’s evil lair, this season’s bakers make some of the spookiest and most mouthwatering displays yet,” she show’s synopsis continues.

The winning team will earn the title of “Halloween Wars Champion,” along with $25,000.

Fans React to the Return of Food Network’s Halloween Shows

Fans are elated over the return of both Halloween Baking Championship and Halloween Wars.

On September 3, Food Network’s Instagram account shared the season premiere dates of both shows.

“Mark your calendars and get ready for boo-tiful frights + tasty delights,” the uber-popular network captioned the post, in part.

Fans expressed their happy anticipation in the comments, with one writing, “I FR–KING LOVE HALLOWEEN BAKING SHOWSSSS!! I’m so excited for this!!!

“Yes!! The best season is coming,” another said.

“2 of my absolute favorite shows,” a third commented.

“So excited!!!” a fourth wrote.

Viewers can tune in to Food Network for new episodes of Halloween Baking Championship on Monday nights and new epsiodes of Halloween Wars on Sunday nights.
