Amid the blue wave yesterday, people are rightly talking about New York, Virginia, and other states that saw huge wins for Democrats. But in case you’re not chronically online, there’s another state that keeps popping up in my feed right now: Kentucky.

On Tuesday, Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams posted the funniest thing ever on X (formerly Twitter).

If you can believe this, he wrote, “We’re getting calls about polls being closed. They are closed because we do not have elections today. Kentucky votes next year. You cannot vote today in Kentucky for the mayor of New York City or the Governor of Virginia. Sorry.”
