Nov. 17 (UPI) — The Critics Choice Association announced Monday that Chelsea Handler will host its upcoming awards show. The Critics Choice Awards airs Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. EST on E! and USA Network.
The event will mark Handler’s fourth year in a row hosting the Critics Choice Awards. It will be the second year the show airs on E! and the first on USA.
“Kicking off the year with the Critics Choice Awards feels right,” Handler said in a statement, joking, “Nothing says ‘new beginnings’ like a room full of critics ready to tell you how you did last year.”
Film and TV nominees will be announced Dec. 5. The awards will be given out live at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
