Conor McGregor and longtime partner Dee Devlin got married on Friday in Vatican City.
The couple and parents of four children exchanged vows in a private ceremony at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abissini, a historic chapel within the Vatican’s walls, TMZ reported.
According to the outlet, the two had an intimate ceremony that included dancers and fireworks before holding a reception at a castle.
McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, got engaged in 2020 after meeting 12 years prior.
In the past, he’s spoken highly of Devlin’s role in his life.
“Dee is a lifesaver for me,” he said in 2013. “I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for her, and that’s for sure. I’m doing all of this for her.
It’s been a turbulent year-plus for the former UFC Champion, who caps off 2025 on a positive note.
After announcing in March that he’d run for President of Ireland, McGregor suspended his campaign in September.
“This was not an easy decision, but it is the right one at this moment in time,” McGregor said.
In July, while he was still campaigning, rapper Azealia Banks alleged in a since-removed post on X that McGregor previously sent her “unsolicited” nude photos.
Amid the fallout of Banks’ accusations, he wrote: “Don’t let them distract you with my [giant c—] while they rob our country blind!” in an apparent response to Banks on the social media platform.
Additionally, McGregor was in a legal battle over a sexual assault charge in Ireland.
In November 2024, a Dublin civil jury found him liable for sexual assault and rape against a woman — Nikita Hand — who had accused him of an incident in 2018, ordering him to pay nearly 250,000 euros in damages.
McGregor denied the accusation, saying the encounter was consensual, and lodged an appeal.
In July 2025, Ireland’s Court of Appeal rejected his appeal on all grounds, upholding the original judgment.
Another bid to further appeal the case was rejected earlier in December.
