Bouncing from one Harbaugh brother to the other worked wonders for Jesse Minter and Mike Macdonald, so maybe that will be the case for Shane Day, too.

The John Harbaugh-led Giants will interview Day – the Chargers quarterbacks coach – for their offensive coordinator vacancy on Saturday, according to The Schultz Report.

Coached by Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers just made a change at offensive coordinator and hired Mike McDaniel to replace the fired Greg Roman.

Whether Day will be retained under McDaniel is not known but he has coached Pro Bowler Justin Herbert over two stints in four of five seasons since 2021.

Day and McDaniel worked together on the 49ers staff in 2019-20.

The Harbaugh-to-Harbaugh tree is in the news this week because the Ravens just hired Minter as head coach after he worked under both brothers and Macdonald’s Seahawks are in the Super Bowl after he was the defensive coordinator under both brothers.

The Giants are scheduled to interview Colts pass game coordinator Alex Tanney for their vacancy Friday, and have requested an interview with Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb.

Tanney and Webb were offseason teammates on the 2018 Giants, with Tanney ultimately edging Webb for a roster spot and becoming the Giants’ all-time leader in completion percentage (1-for-1).

The Giants also submitted a request to interview Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, a former Jets running backs coach.

LSU offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. – who was Jaxson Dart’s coordinator at Ole Miss – is expected to remain in college football despite Dart showing support for his mentor, per ESPN.

Weis’ father was a Super Bowl-winning assistant coach for the Giants in the 1990s.

The Giants are expected to hire defensive backs coach Donald D’Alesio, CBS Sports reported.

D’Alesio held the same job for the Ravens last season after three seasons as safeties coach for the Chiefs.

He was a defensive analyst at LSU in 2020.

He would have crossed paths there with Giants cornerback Cor’Dale Flott, who is headed to free agency after a breakout season.

“Great, great young coach,” one of D’Alesio’s superiors told The Post.
