Send her back to geography class!

Map-challenged democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — who famously claimed to be “a Bronx girl” even though she grew up in the swanky Westchester suburbs — was blasted Thursday by a former classmate for wrongly claiming Venezuela sits below the equator.

Assemblyman Matt Slater (R-Putnam), who went to high school with the 36-year-old congresswoman, called out her latest “social studies” flub.

“I’m sure the Social Studies Department at Yorktown High School is just as embarrassed as everyone else that their most famous student has failed geography on the world stage,” Slater told The Post Thursday.

The socialist superstar made the embarrassing Venezuela gaffe at the Munich Security Conference in Germany last weekend.

While trying to showcase her foriegn policy chops, Ocasio-Cortez inadvertently gave the South American country a new spot on the globe.

“[Nicolas] Maduro canceled elections. He was an anti-democratic leader,” Ocasio-Cortez said of the recently nabbed former Venezuelan president.

“That doesn’t mean that we can kidnap a head of state and engage in acts of war just because the nation is below the equator,” she said, while sitting on a panel at the conference.

Ocasio-Cortez — who majored in global studies, but could apparently use a refresher course —  was hundreds of miles away from being correct.

Venezuela is located entirely in the northern hemisphere, with its southernmost point still roughly 50 miles north of the equator.

“I’m not surprised,” Bronx GOP Chair Michael Rendino told The Post.

“The congresswoman couldn’t tell the Bronx from Queens, as she’s spent more time raising her national profile than in her actual district,” he sniped as Ocasio-Cortez reportedly mulls a 2028 run for the White House.

“Nobody is shocked that AOC doesn’t know where Venezuela is. This is the same chick who claims she grew up in the Bronx even though her actual neighborhood of Yorktown Heights is FORTY miles away,” tweeted FOX News host Jimmy Failla.

In June, Slater outed Ocasio-Cortez for claiming she was raised in the Boogie Down, when she spent her formative years in Yorktown, roughly 30 miles from the Big Apple’s northernmost borough.

“If you’re a BX girl then why are you in my Yorktown yearbook? Give it up already,” he said at the time. “AOC-Bronx mythology is laughable.”
