The semifinals of the 2025-26 Champions League continue today when Arsenal visits Atletico Madrid for their first of two matches.
Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have already met once in this year’s Champions League. The Oct. 21 league phase match ended in a huge 4-0 win for the Premier League side.
Both Atleti and Arsenal, of course, advanced to today’s game thanks to winning their respective quarterfinals, but Arsenal scored just one goal across two matches with Sporting CP (the second match was an 0-0 draw) and Atletico Madrid lost the second leg of their quarterfinal with Barcelona, but still came out with more goals in aggregate.
Both teams are playing for the chance to play for their first Champions League title.
