Kristen Bell traded the hallowed halls of Arendelle for the baseball diamond!
Bell, 46, joined the Savannah Bananas for their Saturday, August 15, game against the Indianapolis Clowns at Denver’s Coors Field as part of their World Tour. The Frozen voice star, for her part, joined the Bananas for a mashup worthy of princesses Elsa and Anna.
Dressed in a personalized Bananas jersey and leopard-print trousers, Bell began singing Frozen’s “For the First Time in Forever” from the stands.
“I can’t wait to meet everyone, what if I meet The One?” Bell quipped at the end, before cameras panned to Broadway actor-turned-Bananas star Derek Klena’s rendition of “Dancing Through Life” from Wicked. (Klena, 34, notably made his Wicked debut on Broadway in 2013, playing Fiyero.)
Together, Bell and Klena duetted “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing complete with the iconic lift from the 1987 film.
“The mashup we never knew we needed🤩,” the Bananas’ Instagram account captioned footage from the performance.
Athlete Connor Harris replied in the comments section, “We set the bar high… @kristenanniebell somehow raised it 🤷♂️.”
Klena, for his part, added, “The kindest, most talented human! @kristenanniebell you are truly the GOAT!! 🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏.”
Bell’s former Veronica Mars costar Francis Capra, who portrayed Weevil, also approved of the musical moment.
“Was that Maria on the right? I know that was Maria,” Capra, 43, asked to which Bell replied affirmatively without clarifying Maria’s identity.
Just hours before her Bananas debut, Bell attended 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on Friday, August 14. Bell and Frozen costars Idina Menzel and Josh Gad were present to tease new details about their roles in the highly anticipated Frozen III.
“This story has always been about these two sisters and their interpersonal relationship, and now that that’s on lock, families grow and they evolve and they change,” Bell told Entertainment Tonight on the D23 red carpet. “Their dynamics change, particularly when something threatens that relationship.”
Menzel, 55, added, “They’re gonna shake it up. … [The music] is still being played with and everything, but nothing can be like ‘Let It Go.’ That’s in a world of its own, but Bobby [Lopez] and Kristen [Anderson-Lopez] are the most amazing composers. I’m sure that you guys will be really excited with what they’ve written.”
Bell portrays Anna opposite Menzel’s Elsa, the eventual queen of Arendell who’s learned to control mystical ice powers.
