Usage-based pricing gives businesses a more flexible way to monetize their products, but it also makes revenue harder to track. When consumption changes from one billing period to the next, finance and sales teams can lose sight of usage that falls outside contracted terms. Alguna’s Revenue Assurance product brings that information back into view, helping CFOs recover missed receivables and giving CROs a clear set of accounts for expansion and renewal.

Alguna, an AI-native revenue management platform spanning CPQ, metering, billing, and revenue recognition, today announced the general availability of Revenue Assurance, a new workspace built to identify unbilled usage in seconds.

“With the move away from seat-based pricing to usage-based pricing, CFOs and CROs have lost a calculation they used to take for granted. When your team was paid commission on annual contracts collected upfront, it was one calculation. Now there’s a variable in it, and on top of that, a fifth item nobody’s accounting for: customers using the product who we’re just not charging,” said Aleks Đekić, Co-founder and CEO at Alguna.

Previously, uncovering this type of leakage typically required engineering involvement. Teams relied on custom scripts, endpoint monitoring, and manual checks of raw logs before reconciling those findings with subscription records in spreadsheets. The effort involved has meant that many companies check for these issues quarterly at most.

Revenue Assurance simplifies the process to a single click. It searches across the customer base for usage that is not associated with an active contract, aggregates real metered usage that remains uncovered, and separately flags usage tied to identifiers that do not correspond to a known customer. Findings are automatically priced using the product’s default rate and can be repriced manually when needed.

Teams can view results by customer to create a ranked set of accounts for CROs to pursue in expansion or renewal discussions. They can also view results by product, providing CFOs with insight into which offerings are repeatedly being under-billed. Each run can be exported into a single CSV for use by sales, customer success, or billing operations.

Aleks Đekić added: “For finance, usage-based revenue leakage means not knowing your margin, not knowing your bill, not knowing your revenue. For CROs, it means not knowing where to upsell, because the tracking data never reaches your CRM. Revenue Assurance solves both problems at once: CFOs get the accounts receivable they didn’t know they had, with proof it’s real, and CROs get a list of exactly which accounts to go after for expansion and renewal conversations.”

Revenue Assurance is now available to all Alguna customers who are already metering usage, with no additional setup, migration, or integration required.
