The Warriors and Steph Curry have finally agreed to a contract extension.
According to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, Curry has agreed to a two-year, $116 million extension that includes a player option in 2028-2029.
Curry’s extension falls $20 million shy of a $136.7 million max contract extension he was eligible to sign.
Throughout the offseason, there was speculation the 2026-2027 season could be his final season with the team as he was entering the final year on his four-year, $215.3 million extension that started in 2022.
Curry has been an iconic piece of the Warriors’ organization for the last 17 seasons. He has led the team to four NBA titles and is a two-time NBA MVP.
