Why would Justin Herbert need to buy beer if he has Beer at home?
That is what many fans commented after seeing the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback buying two cases of Miller Lite at a grocery story on Tuesday.
The joke being that Herbert is engaged to American musician Madison Beer.
But it wasn’t just beer that Herbert was buying. He was also seen purchasing a bouquet of flowers, which social media believed was likely for Beer.
And this was confirmed on Wednesday, when Beer posted a bouquet of flowers to her Instagram story that appeared to be the exact same bouquet Herbert was seen buying a day prior.
At least the Chargers quarterback is still finding ways to make his loved ones happy during that has been an abysmal season for Los Angeles.
Herbert has been underwhelming to this point, and the 0-6 Chargers have been the NFL’s biggest disappointment nearly two months into the regular season.
The Chargers are on bye this week, which means fans will have to wait until their November 1 game against the also struggling Los Angeles Rams to see whether they can break this winless spell.
If not, Herbert might need to buy more beer as a means of drowning his sorrows.
