Anna Leah Jolly is the new Miss Mississippi.
Representing Miss Capital City, Jolly earned top scores in the preliminaries, including a win in the talent competition for her ballet performance.
She followed in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Becky Williams, Saturday and will go on to compete in the Miss America pageant in December, aiming to bring home Mississippi’s fifth national title.
As Miss Mississippi, Jolly will promote her community service initiative, “Limitless,” which encourages young people to pursue their goals without boundaries.
Her statewide tour will include visits to schools, communities, and public events.
A student at Belhaven University, Jolly also holds the distinction of being the first foreign-born winner of the title, having spent her early years in a Ukrainian orphanage before being adopted and moving to Mississippi.
Rounding out the top five for Miss Mississippi 2025 were:
2nd. Miss Hattiesburg Jane Granberry
3rd. Miss Vicksburg Morgan Nelson
4th. Miss University McKenzie Cox
5th. Miss Metro Jackson Gracie Bassett
