Aubrey O’Day is speaking out after reports claimed that Sean “Diddy” Combs was living a pampered prison lifestyle.
“He is enjoying it, huh,” O’Day, 42, quipped during a Monday, October 5, interview with TMZ.
The Danity Kane singer claimed that Diddy, 56, is “not going to need for much” once he is released from jail after completing his four-year sentence following a guilty verdict on two counts of transportation for prostitution.
O’Day — who rose to fame after Diddy brought her into the girl group Danity Kane on Making the Band season 3 — then joked about Diddy’s alleged lavish stay in prison, saying, “He’s got whiskey, pizza, pasta, and Thai massages. He’s got Instagram.”
She took a jab at Diddy’s more scandalous interests, claiming he’s involved in “freak-offs” behind bars, teasing, “I’m sure they’re giving him plenty of baby oil.”
Diddy’s team responded to O’Day’s remarks, telling Us in a statement on Monday, “Sean is focused on serving his sentence and awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal. We’re not going to respond to every sarcastic remark made about him or pretend that jokes and recycled allegations are news. The continued fascination with every mundane detail of Sean’s life in prison has become its own spectacle. We don’t intend to contribute to it.”
O’Day’s comments are in response to NBC News’ recent exposé, in which the outlet alleged that Diddy spent thousands of dollars a month in prison to keep up his high-roller lifestyle while incarcerated.
The publication claimed that Diddy had individuals cooking and cleaning for him behind bars, men making his bed, doing his laundry and giving him Chinese-style massages.
“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” a spokesperson for the rapper told NBC News last month, downplaying his client’s alleged life of luxury. “The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
TMZ reported earlier this month that Diddy was returning to solitary confinement at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after his alleged pampered stay at the low-security correctional facility made headlines.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty and denied the charges against him.
The musician has been serving his four-year sentence since September 2025 after he was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution that July. Diddy was acquitted of other charges.
While O’Day didn’t testify at Diddy’s trial, she previously claimed that he sent her sexually explicit emails before eventually firing her from Danity Kane in 2008.
“There are emails with pictures of his penis,” O’Day alleged in Netflix’s 2025 Sean Combs: The Reckoning documentary. “This is your boss at your work sending you that email.”
She noted in the doc that she“absolutely felt” like Diddy fired her for “not participating sexually.”
Diddy has denied the allegations.
A woman later claimed in an affidavit featured in the 2025 Netflix documentary that she allegedly witnessed Diddy rape O’Day in 2005 alongside another unidentified man.
O’Day told CBS Mornings in December 2025 that she didn’t know if the woman’s account was accurate.
“I needed to make sure that I did my due diligence on understanding that when I was contacted and given the information that this person is all the things that I’ve been told they are, that this person is 100 percent certain that it was me, that they didn’t get another bandmate confused or somebody that just looks like me,” O’Day explained about the alleged sexual assault story. “And the story that they have told has been consistent for two years in every area that they’ve been in.”
O’Day also revealed in the Netflix documentary that she had no recollection of the alleged incident.
Diddy’s spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, denied the affidavit’s claim to CBS Mornings, saying, “Mr. Combs categorically denies the allegations in the Netflix documentary” and “has never sexually assaulted anyone.”
