President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, wrapped up his first year of college this spring — and was described as being both a “ladies’ man” and an “oddity.”

That’s according to a few reports, which also indicate he has a new girlfriend.

Barron has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot. He does have friends he just (unlike his father Donald Trump) screws the limelight,” an unnamed source recently told NewsNation.

The source also told the media outlet Barron is “much more like his mother, Melania,” as “he keeps his head down and gets on with it. He is not trying to be BMOC (big man on campus)” nor is he interested in politics.

At 6-feet 9-inches tall, he is known for his mysterious persona despite being in the public eye his entire life.

According to the source, the 19-year-old New York University (NYC) freshman goes to class and goes home, adding that a professor on campus mentioned that Barron “doesn’t really belong here.”

The source told NewsNation Barron is “watched like a zoo animal.”

In February, The National News Desk reported that NYU College Republicans President Kaya Walker resigned from the organization after she referred to Barron as “an oddity on campus.” She allegedly made the comment earlier this year during an interview with Vanity Fair.

At the time, Walker submitted a resignation letter, which the NYU College Republicans posted on Instagram.

In her letter, Walker defended her statement about Barron.

My comment to Vanity Fair has been ridiculously misconstrued to suggest that I found Barron Trump’s commuter status to be unusual when in reality the majority of NYU’s student body—including myself—are commuters. The ‘oddity’ I talked about lies in the unhealthy fascination that people have with a teenager just minding his business by going to college and not at all in Barron Trump himself,” Walker wrote in the letter.

I have not seen Barron on campus, nor do I know him—I was merely describing the ugly side of our culture and worldwide that delights in forming parasocial relationships with celebrities, which is what the original article sought to interrogate,” she added.

Public interest in Barron skyrocketed throughout the 2024 presidential election, and spiked again after his father beat Vice President Kamala Harris in the race for the White House on Nov. 6, 2024.

Barron is one of Trump’s five children. He shares Barron with First Lady Melania Trump, who lives in New York part-time to be close to Barron.
