It’s a legacy game for Josh Allen on Sunday when the Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City.
Allen has been unable to get over the Patrick Mahomes hump, losing three times in the playoffs to the Chiefs.
With the spread favoring the Chiefs by two points in this matchup, we may get a shootout Sunday night despite the Bills choosing to run the ball throughout their playoff run thus far.
Allen threw just seven passes in the first half against the Ravens.
We’re still targeting a few pass catchers in this game, though.
Bills vs. Chiefs player props
Amari Cooper Over 1.5 receptions (+105, Fanatics Sportsbook)
Buffalo decided not to throw the ball last week as it was able to ride Josh Allen and a ferocious rushing attack to victory against the Ravens.
This could continue, but the Chiefs aren’t going to gift you free possessions like Baltimore did last week.
To be fair, the Bills won’t either, having turned the ball over the fewest times in the NFL.
Assuming the Chiefs don’t turn it over––they did not turn it over last week and only had one in three games prior to last year’s Super Bowl––the Bills will need to actually throw the ball and push it downfield.
Cooper was their regular-season trade deadline acquisition that previously looked to fit well into the offense, but has seemingly fallen out of favor with lower snap counts.
But looking at a negative game script for the Bills, Cooper is a good bet to grab two balls at plus-money this weekend.
Travis Kelce Over 67.5 receiving yards (-114, FanDuel) | Anytime touchdown scorer (+120, DraftKings) | 2+ touchdowns (+1000, BetMGM)
Travis Kelce has gone Over this receiving yards total in 14 straight playoff games.
Kelce only cleared this number six times in the regular season but simply judging by the eye test, the Chiefs limited him dramatically in the regular season.

He is still his usual productive self when they decide to take him out of the garage for a spin around the field.
