Caitlin Clark said goodbye to Carver-Hawkeye Arena for the last time after scoring 32 points in her final game in Iowa City on Monday.

The All-American point guard, who declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft, shared an emotional message Wednesday on Instagram that included photos of her in action on Iowa’s home court, talking with head coach Lisa Bluder and signing autographs for fans.

“Goodbye to my forever favorite arena,” Clark wrote in the post. “The countless memories I have in this place will be cherished forever. see you in Albany hawk fans.”

Clark’s post came two days after the No. 1 seed Hawkeyes survived a poor offensive effort against the No. 8 seed Mountaineers in their 64-54 win in the second round of the NCAA Women’s Tournament.

The comments were filled with supportive messages for Clark.

“The place filled with memories that will last a lifetime,” the official Gatorade account wrote to Clark, who has an NIL deal with the sports beverage brand.

“There’s nothing quite like Carver,” former Hawkeyes guard Claire Kittle wrote in the comments.

The Iowa native and her husband, 49ers tight end George Kittle, attended Iowa’s win against West Virginia to advance to the Sweet 16.

The couple — who met while enrolled at Iowa, where Kittle played football from 2012-16 — snapped a photo with Clark after the game.

Clark declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft — which will be held on April 15 at the famed BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) — last month in a note on social media thanking fans for supporting her career at Iowa.

The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer is projected as the No. 1 pick in the draft by the Indiana Fever.

Clark is currently focused on the task at hand, which is helping the Hawkeyes reach a Final Four berth after last year’s loss to LSU in the national championship game.

Angel Reese and the Lady Tigers beat Clark’s Hawkeyes, 102-85, in the 2023 title game.

Clark is vying for her first NCAA championship before she begins her pro career.

The Hawkeyes will face No. 5 seed Colorado in Saturday’s Sweet 16 in Albany after the Buffaloes beat No. 4 seed Kansas State in the Round of 32.

Iowa could have a rematch Monday against LSU if the reigning national champions beat No. 2 seed UCLA on Saturday.
