We are less than two months away from the 2025 WNBA season, and Kate Martin will be spending her second year with a new team.

After spending four seasons alongside Caitlin Clark with the Iowa Hawkeyes, Martin was drafted by the Las Vegas Aces in 2024. She remained a fan favorite throughout the regular season but saw her minutes slowly diminish toward the end.

Now, she will be heading to the Golden State Valkyries, where she will be one of the inaugural members of the team. She also becomes, arguably, the most popular WNBA player in the Bay Area, which has led to partnerships outside of the league.

One of those partnerships is with DoorDash. On Wednesday, Martin shared a video sponsored by the food delivery company, discussing how getting food delivered is essential for her and her teammates.

“Name someone that gives more assists than DoorDash? I’ll wait,” Martin wrote on Instagram.

Sure enough, Clark, entering her second season with the Indiana Fever, took notice of her good friend’s promotional post, demanding a free dash pass from Martin.

“Get me a free dash pass,” Clark commented.

Less than an hour later, DoorDash responded to Clark, granting her demand: “@caitlinclark22 Say less. We got you.”
