Cardi B is tired of hearing criticism from fans about her relationship with Stefon Diggs.
“Y’all need to calm down,” the rapper, 33, began in a video shared via X on Monday, December 29. “Is y’all cool? Y’all been dragging me for three or four days. And y’all been a little bit too mean. Like, alright now. Y’all being a little bit too mean.”
She continued, “I can’t change s***. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my p****? Huh? I don’t know what y’all want me to do. Y’all want me to leave my man and f*** yours?”
The Grammy winner went on to say that she wants to start the new year off peacefully as she preps for her upcoming Little Miss Drama Tour.
“I have so much work to do once January starts that it’s stressing me out,” she explained. “I’m gonna be away from my baby, my babies, away from my personal life, away from my home. I have to rehearse for 10 to 12 hours a day for tour. There are so many elements of production that I’m missing for tour. I’m already super stressed out, you know what I’m saying?”
She then asked her fans, which she called her “support system,” to “love” her during this period.
“I want y’all to come to my tour and enjoy yourself with me. Don’t be dragging me. It’s enough,” she said. “I love y’all. I want good for y’all. I want health, money, prosperity, happiness for this new year for y’all. Wish me the same thing. Leave me alone, though. S***! Damn, y’all scare me sometimes.”
Cardi has been linked to Diggs, 32, since October 2024. The duo welcomed their first baby, a son, in November. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also shares daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 15 months, and son Wave, 4, with estranged husband Offset.
In September, Cardi confirmed that she and Diggs were expecting a baby during an interview with Gayle King for CBS Mornings.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong,” she said at the time. “I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”
Cardi hinted that “Safe,” one of the songs on her latest album, is about her relationship with Diggs, who is a wide receiver for the New England Patriots.
“And he just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she explained. “I mean, like, two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout. … He makes me feel very confident.”
Last month, a paternity test proved that Diggs is the father of model Aileen Lopera’s baby girl, who was born in April. Cardi previously addressed speculation about the situation via social media, saying that she and her partner would deal with it.
“That’s your baby daddy, bitch? That’s my baby daddy too,” Cardi said in an Instagram Live video in November. “Well, what now? I don’t f***ing know. We’ll figure it out, bitch.”
