49ers superstar running back Christian McCaffrey has a son.
McCaffrey’s wife, Olivia Culpo, made an Instagram post on Saturday afternoon that announced the birth of their second child.
“Roman Augustus McCaffrey 🤍 / 9/29/26,” the post was captioned.
The post is a collage of special moments from the baby’s birth, including one in which McCaffrey can be seen holding his son.
This is the second child McCaffrey and Culpo have had. They also have a daughter, named Colette, who was born in July 2025.
Culpo has had both children via cesarean section, which allowed her to pick the day she was going to give birth.
She intentionally scheduled it on a 49ers off day to ensure that McCaffrey could be present.
It was clear that Culpo was close to giving birth, as her pregnant belly has been making waves on social media. But she didn’t disclose exactly when she was going to give birth until this announcement was made on Saturday.
Hopefully McCaffrey has been able to spend quality time with his wife and two children over the past week, as he had to leave on Saturday them to face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks tomorrow.
