Cynthia Erivo is looking super glam!
The actress, 38, returned to her hometown to attend the 2025 BAFTA Awards on Sunday, Feb. 16, at London’s Royal Festival Hall. She is nominated for leading actress for her role in the 2024 hit movie musical adaptation Wicked.
Erivo arrived in a custom figure-hugging white Louis Vuitton dress with floral lace pattern and statement neckline. The column dress flared out into a short train and offered a peek at Erivo’s matching white heels. The actress wore tons of dazzling jewels — including a few green ones to nod to Elphaba — and, as always, she had her nails painted in matching fashion.
The actress wore Tiffany & Co. jewelry for the event, including a diamond and emerald bracelet and earrings from the archives. She also wore three rings from the brand.

On the red carpet, Erivo spoke with BAFTAs preshow host Clara Amfo and said being in London and being nominated at this awards show was a “big one” for her. She also shared of her Wicked character, “I love her with all of my heart. She’s legitimately changed my life.”
Erivo also dished that it’s been so touching that people of all ages and all walks of life are singing “Defying Gravity,” the song that her character is most known for.
In addition to Erivo’s nod, the movie also secured nominations for best supporting actress for Ariana Grande, best production design, best costume design, best makeup and hair, best sound and best special visual effects.
The stage alum has been known for her flashy looks on the red carpet. Just last week, she showed up to the 2025 Critics Choice Awards in a skin-baring Armani Privé Haute Couture black gown with a low-cut peplum vest, beaded embellishments and a column skirt.

Erivo accessorized the look with sparkly Bucherer Fine Jewellery rings and impressive earring stack and her signature bejeweled nails. The set was a dreamy take on the classic French tip style as it featured pastel blue accents and ornate gold charms.
The British actress has been leaving people breathless with her back-to-back movie-inspired looks, often opting for moody-but-bold designs to channel her character Elphaba, a.k.a. the Wicked Witch of the West.

“You have to keep keep everyone guessing,” said Erivo in an interview with E!‘s Zuri Hall. “Green is Elphaba’s skin color, but what she wears a lot is black. So, I’ve been trying to mess around with the shapes and the structure of different kinds of black dresses.”
Erivo also pulled out her claws for this look. The actress wore multicolored nails adorned with large gemstones and intricate art. She later revealed that her manicurist Mycah Dior used five OPI nail polish shades to complete the design — including the cobalt blue hue, Fiyero’s My Mani, from the limited edition Wicked collection.
Earlier this month, Erivo reflected on the success of Wicked during a press conference at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass., after she was named Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ Woman of the Year.
“This year has been a complete … whirlwind,” she said. “Last year was absolutely wild and insane, and I have to say, I’m deeply, deeply grateful for the experiences that I’ve had, some of which are very much a first time.”
“I don’t know that any of us could have expected what has happened with Wicked,” the actress added. “We knew it was special, but for the world to take it as its own in this way has been really wonderful to behold.”
