The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization crowned Davis Wash as Miss South Carolina 2024 on Saturday evening, June 29, marking a triumphant moment for the 23-year-old from Edgefield, South Carolina.

Wash, who previously held the title of Miss Clemson 2024, impressed the judges and audience alike with her vocal performance of “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers. Her talent, elegance, and fitness were on full display, earning her top 3 preliminary wins in the Miss Talent, Evening Gown, and Fitness categories.

As Miss South Carolina 2024, Wash received a $60,000 scholarship and will represent South Carolina at the Miss America pageant later this year. Her victory not only showcases her dedication and hard work but also highlights her potential to shine on the national stage.

The competition also recognized four additional delegates as runners-up:

– First Runner Up: Miss Myrtle Beach, Brooke Vu

– Second Runner Up: Miss Midlands, Ally Grooms
