ASHEVILLE – The address of the recently shuttered downtown restaurant, Dilbar, won’t be vacant for long as a new food and beverage concept is on its way.
On Jan. 29, Justin and Layla Neuroth, husband and wife, told the Citizen Times in an email that they have partnered with Adam Authier to introduce a new farm-and-table establishment at 5 Biltmore Ave, Suite A.
The acquirement follows the closing announcement of the Indian street food eatery, Dilbar, on Jan. 24.
Earlier this month, the couple hosted the grand opening of their new craft cocktail lounge, Färməsē ― pronounced “pharmacy” ― that opened below Dilbar in Suite C.
The name of the new street-level business, tentatively scheduled to open by April, hasn’t been disclosed.
The fast-casual, farm-to-table menu is being finalized. Still, it is said to include exotic coffees, draft beer and classic American grub using local ingredients, served from mornings through the evenings.
The business partners plan to create a bright space with “very vibey light.” The restaurant will feature a patio.
The farm-to-table establishment will complement the farm-to-glass cocktail lounge, Färməsē, offering a classic cocktail menu enhanced by in-house simple syrups and shrubs made with fresh, local ingredients.
Färməsē is open daily from 4-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. For more, follow Färməsē on Facebook.
