Dolores Catania is taking a page from Taylor Swift’s book when it comes to wedding invitations.
“We’ve made so many friends through this life and Bravo, I’d love to invite so many people,” Dolores told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting her upcoming role in The Real Housewives of Rhode Island. “It’s like Taylor Swift says: she’s just gonna invite everybody, f*** it. That’s what I would probably do.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star got engaged to Paul “Paulie” Connell in November 2025 — but they’ve yet to walk down the aisle.
“The kids come first,” she told Us. “The kids have to get married first. I couldn’t imagine getting married the same year my kids get married.”
Dolores is referring to daughter Gabrielle Catania and son Frankie Catania Jr., whom she shares with ex-husband Frank Catania. Frankie Jr. got engaged to Nicole Perricho in February 2025. Gabrielle, meanwhile, announced her engagement to Mike Tallia earlier this month.
While there isn’t much to report in terms of her own wedding details, Dolores and Paulie do have some ideas.
“Me and Paul often talk about celebrating a New Year’s wedding. Him and I just having one big party,” she gushed. “Nothing formal, but a big, huge party somewhere in New York.”
Would the cameras be invited?
“My life’s an open book, and I would totally bring the cameras and invite the world to be a part of my life, as they always have been,” she said.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Dolores would be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey alongside Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga for the show’s highly anticipated return. But before the Garden State girls come to our screens once again, Bravo viewers will get to see Dolores in another role as a “friend of” the RHORI women.
“It was great. It was great to see the girls do such a good job,” Dolores told Us about the new cast of characters including Ashley Iaconetti, Kelsey Swanson, Alicia Carmody, Rulla Pontarelli, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, Rosie DeMare and Liz McGraw.
“They weren’t trying to be like other Housewives at all. They were just themselves, and I am so proud of them. They gave it 100 percent,” Dolores gushed. “They worked really hard. They filmed a ton. They put their lives out there.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres on Bravo Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m. ET, with a second episode premiering on Sunday, April 5. New episodes will be released on Sundays, streaming via Peacock the following day.
