The passing of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan has led to an outpouring of support and condolences from across all walks of life.
In the final years of his life, Hulk Hogan became closer to the Trump family, actively supporting President Donald Trump in the leadup to the 2024 presidential election. He even spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
Trump’s eldest son Donald Jr. remembers Hogan fondly and shared a statement on his passing.
“Hulk Hogan was a real American icon and I’ll never forget his speech in support of my father at the Republican National Convention,” Trump wrote on Thursday.
Trump supporters in Donald Jr’s comments were proud to express their condolences and well-wishes to Hogan’s family following his passing:
“Hogans speech was memorable, and its neat how those moments stick with people on a personal level,” one user replied.
“If we hear thunder in the skies tonight, it’s probably the Hulkster fighting the eternal battle of Good vs. Evil- as he did at the Convention- against the Iron Sheik. HULKOMANIA!!!!” wrote another.
“Rest in power, Hulk Hogan My childhood hero. My life inspiration. The Real American. Some cheered, some booed—but no one ever ignored him. You’ll forever be one of the greatest,” a third replied.
“I usually don’t react too much when a public figure passes away, but this really brings tears to my eyes. Godspeed, Terry Gene “Hulk Hogan” Bollea. From Rocky III to the 2024 RNC, you are a true champion.”

Hogan reportedly went into cardiac arrest in his Florida home today. He had been battling a slew of health problems for many years and there had been unsubstantiated rumors that he was nearing the end just a few weeks ago.
Decades of wrestling had caused numerous long-term health issues ranging from mobility to internal organ issues.
There will undoubtedly be more and more tributes to the fallen wrestling legend in the days and weeks to come.
