Mere days after the news broke that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are allegedly considering moving back to the US, their plans may have hit a major snag.
As many people know by now, the pair bought a lavish farmhouse when they initially moved to the UK, but quickly put it on the market to get another farmhouse that could accommodate their pet needs. They put the original farmhouse on the market for around $30 million (having purchased it over a year prior for $20 million) and now, another roadblock has happened.
The multi-million dollar home has been flooded! While there were rumors that it had flooded months ago, which DeGeneres disproved, the ongoing rain has actually made it flood, Realtor claims.

Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi
For those who don’t know, DeGeneres and Rossi met back in 2001 at a Rock the Vote concert. However, they didn’t get together until 2004. When they reconnected in 2004, they split with their respective partners, and they started dating. The pair later got engaged, and married in Aug 2008.
After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, DeGeneres and Rossi left all of their California properties behind to move to the UK, later confirming the election was the reason why.
