Elon Musk, Tim Cook, and several top CEOs will travel to China with President Trump as he lobbies President Xi Jinping to invest in America.

Meta’s Dina Powell McCormick, BlackRock’s Larry Fink and Boeing’s Robert Kelly Ortberg are also part of the US delegation, a White House official told The Post.

The heavy firepower from Wall Street and the tech world comes as Trump tries to right the trade imbalance with Beijing. He wants Xi to invest in America and is pressing China to put in massive orders for American planes, soybeans and other goods.

Trump and Musk’s bromance is back on track after a very public falling out in early 2025 that saw Musk call for Trump’s impeachment and the president suggesting he’d deport his former head of DOGE.

But they slowly rebuilt their friendship and Musk has reappeared at some White House events, particularly those tied to his SpaceX company.

Musk was one of the biggest contributors to Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and, after the election, led the slashing of the federal workforce through his Department of Government Efficiency.

But Tesla earnings took a hit due to Musk’s controversial government service, while he and Trump feuded over Jared Isaacman, a Musk ally who he wanted to head NASA. Trump withdrew Isaacman’s nomination but renominated him as he and Musk repaired their friendship.

The president is bringing top executives from financial, technology, aerospace and agriculture firms to help him lobby China to invest big in America.

Notably missing from the list is Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, which makes the high-tech chips powering the global AI boom. Cisco Systems CEO Chuck Robbins was also invited by the White House, but will skip the trip due to the company’s scheduled quarterly earnings call Wednesday.

Still, the list of marquee business names in the delegation emphasizes the commercial importance of the trip and will be key to Trump’s goal of coming home with several deals.

It remains unclear which executives will fly on Air Force One with the president and which will have to travel by other means.

The following CEOs will be traveling to China with the US delegation, per the White House:

  • Apple (Tim Cook)
