Emmy-winning comedian bringing national tour to upstate NY in 2026

Emmy Award-winning comedian John Mulaney will return to western New York in 2026 with a stop in Buffalo.

Mulaney is set to perform at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on April 2 as part of his ongoing “John Mulaney: Mister Whatever, tour. New dates in 2026 were just announced this week, including the Buffalo show.

The long-time writer, comedian and actor is now also a host of his new Netflix show, “Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney.” His most recent stand-up special, “Baby J,” earned him an Emmy. The special also received the 2024 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy Special (non-televised).

Mulaney was also known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he was a writer from 2008 to 2013.

Pre-sale tickets will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, and general tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24. Ticket prices were not listed.

Tickets will be available for purchase at Shea’s website or at Shea’s Box Office at 650 Main St. Tickets will also be available through ticketmaster and johnmulaney.com.

Last month, Mulaney performed at to Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center in Ontario County.
