The World Cup returned to Miami one last time on Saturday as England and Norway clashed at Hard Rock Stadium in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinal.
Two of the game’s biggest stars in Harry Kane and Erling Haaland were on the field, but around the stadium it was a who’s who of soccer royalty and sports stars.
Leading England’s star-studded contingent was former Three Lions captain David Beckham, who has practically made Hard Rock Stadium his second home throughout the tournament. The Inter Miami co-owner arrived alongside wife Victoria Beckham and children Romeo, Cruz and Harper, while eldest son Brooklyn was notably absent.
Rock legends Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood proudly backed England, adding another chapter to the Rolling Stones’ long-running love affair with English soccer.
Miami’s own sports stars also joined the party.
Miami Heat forward Nikola Jovic mingled with tennis icons Venus Williams and her husband Andrea Preti, while 2025 French Open champion Coco Gauff, who recently lost in the semifinals at Wimbledon, soaked in the atmosphere.
Inter Miami striker Luis Suarez, former Herons midfielder Blaise Matuidi and former manager Javier Mascherano also made appearances, alongside Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro.
Soccer royalty seemed to occupy every other suite.
Ronaldo Nazário, Arsène Wenger, Kaká, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Alessandro Del Piero, Cesc Fàbregas, Christian Vieri, Youri Djorkaeff, Marco Materazzi, Hristo Stoichkov, Diego Lugano, Pepe and John Arne Riise all took in the heavyweight European showdown.
Haaland’s father, Alfie Haaland, watched nervously from the stands while FOX analysts Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thierry Henry and Alexi Lalas enjoyed a front-row seat to the spectacle.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino was joined by Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon, Norwegian Football Federation president Lise Klaveness and Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt, underscoring the significance of one of the tournament’s marquee matchups.
As if the guest list needed another boost, Steve Aoki was the in-stadium DJ. Host of the hit reality show Love Island, Maya Jama, was also in attendance and Olympic heptathlete Anna Hall was spotted on the pitch.
New York Knicks guard Josh Hart, fresh off winning the city’s first championship in 53 years was also in attendance seated behind England’s bench.
It was a fitting farewell for Miami’s final match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
