Erin Lichy has a lot of thoughts about fellow Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield’s actions following the show’s explosive season 15 finale.

Erin, 37, said during her Tuesday, January 28 appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that Brynn’s Rolling Stone interview “triggered the f—” out of her — and she “lost it.”

When she read the article, which was published on January 22, Erin was shocked that the drama was “still going on” and couldn’t believe Brynn referred to her as “a sister.” (Erin addressed this in an Instagram comment at the time.)

“Like we’re still doubling down and calling me like a sister when you hadn’t spoken to me at all,” Erin continued. “Not only [not] spoken to me, blocked me.”

Erin speculated during the podcast episode that Brynn, age, blocked her following a past text conversation in which Ubah Hassan’s name was brought up.

Brynn’s relationship with the RHONY women became fractured following the finale, which aired earlier this month. During a cast vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Ubah made a comment alleging that Brynn had slept with someone to get on the show. In a later scene, Brynn then detailed her past sexual assault to some of the other women, claiming that Ubah had known about it — which a visibly upset Ubah then denied. Brynn eventually admitted that she didn’t know if Ubah had “clocked it” when she detailed the trauma during a past phone conversation.

“I guess she had remembered the other times that she had texted me and I’d said, ‘You know, Ubah’s really upset about what happened.’ I guess she didn’t like that,” Erin said during Tuesday’s podcast appearance. “She didn’t like that I was saying that Ubah was upset because she was the one who’s supposed to be upset, I guess, after this whole thing. So, she blocked me. I didn’t speak to her for months until my father passed away [in October 2024].”

Erin said that Brynn has “since reached out” to her.

“I was like, ‘I’m sorry, but I don’t have the capacity right now to have these conversations. You blocked me like as though I did something wrong.’ She was like, ‘I’m sorry, I blocked you. I mean, I got an apology,” she said, returning to Brynn’s “sister” comment.

“How are we sisters? Like, you hate me, apparently. I’m blocked,” Erin continued. “Sisters? I talk to my sister every single day. That’s not like my version of sisterhood here.”

Erin also addressed the possibility of Brynn’s return to RHONY for season 16 — but did not confirm anything.

“I think it would be really hard for me to trust anything. I mean, how do you do that? How do you, how do you like overlook something like the finale? How do you overlook an event like that?” Erin wondered, adding that she doesn’t think anyone from the RHONY cast still talks to Brynn after the shocking revelations of the finale.

“I really, truly from the bottom of my heart, wish her in the best. I really, really do,” Erin continued. “She’s got qualities that are incredible, and she’s really intelligent, and she’s very charismatic. It’s a shame for someone with all these talents to not go far in life.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET, with part one of the season 15 reunion premiering January 28.
