SAN FRANCISCO — Cooper DeJean left a Super Bowl party on Saturday night hand-in-hand with a woman — but it wasn’t WWE superstar Nikki Bella.
The Eagles cornerback, 22, was spotted getting cozy with a mystery brunette as the two cruised out of a Sports Illustrated Super Bowl bash together at the Bay Area’s Cow Palace.
Dressed in a leather jacket and dark pants, DeJean threw his arm around the woman just minutes after The Chainsmokers wrapped up on stage, and he held on to her hand all the way until they got into a waiting vehicle just outside the arena.
DeJean spent plenty of time with the woman throughout the party, though there were no outward signs of affection until they left the festivities.
Nikki, 42, and her twin sister, Brie, also attended the party, but it’s unclear if they ever crossed paths with DeJean.
For weeks, DeJean and Nikki had been linked together after she continuously dropped hints they were an item.
The first came in December when she posed at DeJean’s locker after an Eagles win over the Raiders. The next came when she opted to sport his jersey at Philadelphia games.
On Feb. 2, she added even more fuel to the rumors when she gave a cheeky response to a “Coop”-chanting WWE audience.
“Can you blame a girl for having good taste?” she said while on a mic in the ring. “I mean, Pro Bowl, baby.”
DeJean and Nikki were both asked about their possible romance during Super Bowl week, but neither divulged much.
DeJean actually told Kay Adams that Nikki was merely “a good friend.”
