It’s always feisty in Philadelphia.

After the Flyers lost to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday for the second time in two days, a Toronto fan began waving goodbye to Philly supporters on their way out of Wells Fargo Center.

A fan wearing a backward-facing Eagles hat came down to the front row to confront the taunting Maple Leafs devotee before throwing power punches, according to footage shared on social media.

The Eagles fan threw a hard right hand at one Toronto supporter, who did not take part in the taunting, before connecting hard shots on the other Maple Leafs fan’s ear.

Moments after the punches were thrown, someone who appeared to be part of stadium personnel seemed to direct the Eagles fan out of the row.

It’s likely Philly fan’s frustration stemmed from the 17-19-5 Flyers, currently led by former Rangers coach John Tortorella.

The Flyers, now riding a three-game losing skid, are sixth in the Metropolitan Division, just above the Rangers (18-20-2) and the Islanders (15-18-7).

The Capitals lead the division at 26-10-4.

Fan fights have become an unfortunate and rather common occurrence at sporting events.

The city of Philadelphia, in particular, has a history of wild and destructive scenes in the aftermath of high-stakes games.

In recent memory, Eagles fans took to the streets following the team’s Super Bowl LII win over the Patriots in February 2018, lighting fireworks and jumping from property in the mayhem.

The Flyers will try to get back on track Thursday when they host the Stars (25-12-1).
